I made two visits to the Ecology Park Ponds on the 6th and 13th March and then was unable to visit for the rest of the month due to being housebound with an enforced period of one leg elevated and resting!

The area began to green during March and the catkins on 13th March were spectacular.  Bird activity also livened up again and I started to get very interested in herons!
